'The staff was very nice. I had expressed that my dad is disabled and we would’ve liked a first floor room. In fairness the hotel wrote back to say that the ADA room would’ve cost $70 more and my parents opted to pass on the extra cost. When they arrived, they were assigned to the THIRD FLOOR! With no elevator, I’m disappointed that they already had the information and still placed them on the top floor. They could have at least assigned them the second floor room. 'Honestly I had a good time here. No complaints. The staff was lovely. So kind and sweet and helpful. Also very attentive. They were fast and efficient. The place was clean and smelled very nice. The area was spacious. The AC was great, it got cold super fast. I loved it. The location is in the heart of everything yet secluded and I liked that. The water outside is warm so you can get in even if it’s a bit nippy. My 9 year old also loved his stay. '

'We really enjoyed our one night stay here prior to embarking. The space is clean and perfect for two people. Felt safe behind both our door and the gates to the property. The area feels very local, and provided a good walking spot to explore during the day. Only minor complaint is the bed was a little firm (partially our preference), and would be better with more pillows in addition to the decorative ones. 'Casa Ciana ligt in een onprettige buurt. Wij kwamen ‘s avonds aan en wilden graag iets eten. We voelden ons niet veilig om naar een restaurantje te lopen(vervallen buurt, prostituee’s langs de weg en louche barretjes). Het inchecken gaat met codes die je in moet tikken. Heel onpersoonlijk. Je ziet niemand. Onze kamer was piepklein. Ik kon mijn koffer niet openen. De kamer was wel netjes en schoon met een goed bed. De prijs kwaliteit klopt niet. Veel te duur voor hetgeen je krijgt.'

'Clean room, friendly staff, ample parking, public beach w/ ample parking, great local food & bars nearby. Beware the noisy rooster/s that don't just squack in the morning! They're kind of adorable as I'd never seen them before in person, but they can ruin a good afternoon nap 😉 Also there's at least 5 tattoo shops nearby. Toa Baja is about 30 minutes from San Juan, I'd highly recommend a rental car. Using ride share services is an option, but a rental suited my needs better for sight seeing...

Luggage rack was handy and very much needed & appreciated the bench at the end of the bed for extra space to put things/sit. Clothes hooks & hangers were handy also. A freeze that actually freezes things..left a big water bottle half full & and another too, forgot about them & when I opened it they were completely...
