'This was such an.amazing place, location was so walkable. The best place we have stayed in the area. Got a great deal in the off season. it was cold out but we stayed cozy here. we walked to the Sift bakery several times for the delicious pastries and coffee. walked to to mystic pizza just down the road. 'We have stayed at several VRBO's that are individual rooms in a historical residence, this was by far the best. The host's attention to individual detail was beyond expected. The time spent there was like "a night in the museum". The apple pie that greeted us was superb (we waited until breakfast the next morning). "Heel gezellig hotel met een warm en persoonlijk onthaal. Je voelt je meteen welkom bij de familie die dit hotel runt. Het ligt ook op wandelafstand van bezienswaardigheden en restaurants, al ligt het wel aan een relatief drukke weg en loopt achter het domein een spoorweg (waar niet zo veel treinen langs komen trouwens). Het bubbelbad in de badkamer is echt wel een plus, hoewel misschien wat luid gezien ze al ietwat verouderd zijn. Het ontbijt bestond uit een muffin, koffie en fruit. Naar Europese normen eerder mager, maar voor Amerika wel een grote plus. We zouden zeker terugkomen voor het gevoel van welkom te zijn en de gezellige inrichting. "
