'Quiet room (separate to pub) with comfortable beds. We dont like full, hot breakfasts so it was nice not to have to pay for it. The cereal/fruit /toast/ pastries were ideal for us.
The food in the pub was nice, probably not worth the price but that's fine as a one-off. The pub was attractive and cosy. All staff were lovely and very helpful. Note - free toiletries are available at the bar, not in the room.
The only things I didnt like were the stag head looming over our breakfast area and the...

'A perfect stay and will definitely be back. Easy check in, the rooms, 1 and 2, were fantastic and great for the dogs. The facilities in the room were everything we needed. The bar and restaurant were really well set out and the decor created a nice homely feel, very relaxing.

'The rooms are very comfortable, interestingly decorated, and well equipped with plug outlets, etc.
Only negative is that meal service ends at 8pm in the restaurant, and road traffic can be a bit loud (if you are sensitive).'

'The room was perfect. The front of house staff were always polite, incredibly helpful, and incredibly accommodating to our needs and wants. The food throughout the stay was fantastic.
