'Friendly staff, nice rooms, basic breakfast. I enjoyed my stay.'

'My husband and I were impressed with the our short stay; the room was very spacious and had everything we needed. Sadly, the TV is not a smart TV but luckily, it was quick trip for us. A firestick might come in handy.l for future reference. We highly appreciated the complimentary breakfast. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and didnt have any issues.'

'Near the beach, friendly staff. Problems were solved (sometimes after a reminder). Quality of the breakfast was good. Room was definitely dated. Although clean not in depth. Closer doors were very tired, safe was unresponsive (solved), roaches in the kitchenette (solved), bathroom door stuck and scraped. Staff at the front desk very friendly.'

'This is a spectacular little boutique hotel in downtown Norfolk. The location is great for walking to the theater and the water district. There’s dining everywhere. The biggest bonus is the glass art museum that’s included with your stay.'

'The bar staff and restaurant staff were great. We really enjoyed interacting with them. The front desk staff efficient and nice. But, we had a few problems in the room that were addressed after I talked to the desk....after few times. -The air conditioner was so loud and made a big bang when it turned on during the night. -I found mold on our sheets. I told the front desk and they said they would get the housekeeper to change our linens. I asked the housekeeper later she didn't seem to...

'The property was horrible. The bed had a whole in the side of the mattress. The platform bed was almost on the floor I wished I could attach pictures. Initially I was going to cancel the room. Then the sent me a email thanking me and stated they had renovations. THAT WAS A LIE! STAY AWAY!!'

'The building and the staff were great! Such a cute property and a really nice room. Only downside was that it was pretty loud due to traffic noise outside (and an early morning party in the parking lot next door). But the staff and amenities were really top notch, and breakfast was very tasty both days!'

'My 9 yo and I were so turned off my the greasy walls, smoke burn bedding and busted bathroom that we left after 10 minutes. Our reservation said no smoking but they put us in a heavily smoked out room with air that was unbreathable.'

'There were cigarette butts all around the building. The stairs have carpet that are grossly dirty both the steps and the walls around them. The outside of the ac units looked slightly damaged and were leaking large amounts of fluids on the concrete in front of the rooms. There was no way to walk around the fluids which could cause a slippery hazard. There were trash bags with flies around them in the walkway. The room itself had grime on the floorboards and my window curtain was too small and...
