'We had a fantastic stay at the Bear’s Den for Labor Day week/end 2025. The owners have done a wonderful job of making this a fantastic up north getaway in the woods. It was so peaceful and relaxing while also having all you need in terms of modern amenities. There were 7 of us plus a dog and we were all cozy and comfortable. You need to plan around the ferry for coming and going but we thought that added to the adventure and the kids loved it. Highly recommend. My parents already want to come...

'The house was clean and beautiful. The lake view is amazing! It's a wonderful private place to relax with plenty of activities/places to explore nearby. Any questions we had were answered by consulting the provided informational binder. The local host was available if needed.'

'Even though the area seemed like it was just farm land, we were less than 15 minutes from the heart of town. We could even hear the ships horns and see the smoke from their stacks as they went down the St Mary’s River while sitting on the deck. It was a beautiful home in a beautiful setting. The home was nicely laid out and felt like home. I would highly recommend it!'

'We had a wonderful stay at the Rustic Moose! The host was fantastic with communicating and you could tell a lot of care went into making this a home away from home. We can’t wait to come back again in warmer months! '

'Perfect home base for day trips in the Eastern UP. Quiet residential area, a brisk walk or quick drive to the Soo Locks and restaurants. Unit was clean, quiet and comfortable. Kitchen worked fine for quick meals, there is a grocery nearby. On-street parking was always easily available. '

'We loved our stay here. The place is clean, the couch is comfy, the TV is big and we slept great! An added bonus were the cows. We highly recommend!'
