'What a great location. Right on the beach. The windows were amazing and views stunning. The split level layout made it easy for one of the older couples to only walk up a few steps to their bedroom after walking up the flight of stairs to get to the main floor. 'The location is breathtaking. Such a beautiful setting and perfect distance to enjoy the Pacific Ocean. The home was perfect for our large group and the upstairs bedrooms has a fantastic view of the ocean as did the downstairs living area. Would definitely stay again.'

'We booked this home for a family reunion and it did not disappoint. The home had all the basics for big family get togethers and the views were spectacular. The beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of space for our kids, their cousin, aunts, and uncles and was accomodating for kids to be entertained and for the adults to relax.'

'We were looking for a quiet getaway in a sleepy community and this hit the bullseye. Friendly neighborhood and peaceful at all times of the day. Cape Lookout and Oceanside not over crowded and was a great place to catch the sunset.. Over all the perfect spot.'

'This was a wonderful house! It has plenty of space, two bedrooms on the ground floor (which was important for us), and an incredible view out to the ocean.The hosts were amenable and very communicative. The check-in was easy and clear and the check out was simple.The neighborhood was great and quiet. The house is a couple hundred meters away from beach access in each direction. 'We had a great time at the house, and we had enough space for all 5 adults and 3 kids. The cottage house was a little musty and we weren’t aware the room in there was up a steep flight of stairs but otherwise it was great. The beds are comfy and the fireplace kept the room warm in the cooler evening and morning hours. The walk to the beach is tough for little kids and older folks, and the beach access is very steep. Once on the beach though, it’s private and beautiful. '

'We loved our stay at The Whale! Over 30 family members of all ages fit comfortably in this accommodation! The home is a bit older, and some things are worn out, but with close beach access sand can reek havoc! We were in close proximity to so many amenities such as waterfalls, lighthouses, deep sea fishing and whale watching not to mention the five minute walk to beach! 'The house was extremely comfortable for our group of 3 adults and 2 kids (12 and 5) for 11 days at the end of August. There are a ton of highlights including the very-well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, wonderful view, and easily walkable distance to what might very well be the most ideal beach on the Oregon coast.
