'Simply not clean enough or updated enough to carry the Hilton name. Fantastic staff, but the place needs serious work! Fourth floor had a room right by the elevator that should have had vending machines and ice maker and it showed wires coming out of the wall. TV in our room was seriously outdated and useless. Flooring and bath area while clean were scruffy and outdated.'

'Room 212 was so much bigger and nicer than expected. I didn’t arrive until 3am. They accommodated me. We stayed at a luxury hotel in New Orleans the next day. All I could think about was how much nicer this was in comparison. Your hotel even offered Dove soap products. 10/10. Will always stay here.'

'Best hotel I've stayed in a long time - such character, spacious, clean and the food was excellent. My favorite part was a little kitchen area for guests with tea & coffee, drinks, snacks, home made cookies each afternoon. Highly recommend the Fairview Inn. '

'We never received housekeeping service and after several requests, they brought us fresh towels and emptied the trash. The front desk staff didn't seem the least bit concerned and offered no apology.'
