'The house, built 1870, would be a dream for children: candy, cookies, chocolate, muffins, candybars e v e r y w h e r e !! Inside it has an extensive collection of all kind of odds and ends, which makes the house so cozy! We stayed in the governer's room, a big room with a comfortable king bed. You must not count on (daily) cleaning and making the bed, because both jobs won't happen. That was a bit disappointing, because we stayed for four nights and had expected that to happen. 'This is a lovely manor, and although signs of age are evident, it appears the owners are working towards complete restoration. It's close to plenty of what Minden has to offer, very convenient to stores, gasoline. I'm here for a church conference and I'm just 3 minutes away. I was able to select what I want for breakfast; hope it's good.'
