'This hotel is truly beautiful — Art Deco style, full of character and soul. The lobby is stunning, and the corridors feel like they transport you to a different era, with elegant marble floors… It could easily be a museum. It’s located downtown, and many sights are within walking distance. The subway and bus stops are also nearby. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, but the bathroom could use renovation. 'Very close to indiana dunes state and national park. Room very clean with microwave and and a pretty good size refrigerator. Comfortable bed. There is a nice outdoor patio where you can sit outside. Staff helpful. VERY limited breakfast selections. Coffee was good and was available all the time. Only negative is we were unable to check in early but otherwise everything was great. Will stay again if we're in the area. Thank you'

'The breakfast was ample, with plenty of hot and cold options. The pool was fine, and the sauna was an added benefit. I wasn't expecting to do birdwatching from the motel, but it is on a small lake, and there were egrets and lots of other birds very nearby. The shower was easily accessible (my husband uses a wheelchair).'
