'Unfortunately we would not return to this house. We loved the proximity to beach and the lake view from the upstairs bedroom, and appreciated the upstairs AC unit. That was about all we were able to enjoy… the place was very dirty, dishes weren’t clean, throw blankets were not washed and had awful smells. Shower was small with no soap, shampoo, etc. There were SO many bugs both outside and inside, which I’m sure is just a seasonal May thing and not the property owner’s fault. However, there were...

'Very clean great remote location. Most definitely would book again!'

'The address and check in information was provided within a day of booking. So much better than the typical day of check in communication. The premises had space to park a boat, which was a major factor in choosing this property. The lodge also had a shared laundry room which was made available to guests after 4 pm.The unit was very clean and Elizabeth communicated from booking all the way through check. It's the best communication I have experienced with a VRBO or similar property.'

'The house is very nice. We were there during a heat wave and the A/C units (one upstairs, one down) provided more than adequate cooling. Loved the high ceilings too! The property is very private and secluded. There's no wifi, but cell service was strong. We'll be back!'

'This was our third time staying at this cabin. Great location, excellent amenities! Rooms were extremely clean. Very family and kid-friendly.'

'We really enjoyed our stay here! It was the perfect size for our family of 7! The kids loved the bunk room and toys, the walk to the beach was quick and the beach was quiet and clean. The house had everything we needed for the perfect up north getaway!'

'Everything was great. The loft bed would be tough for some but there is also a nice pull out couch. Beautiful place. Everything you need to be comfortable. Hosts were welcoming and available. '

'This is a lovely, private and picturesque getaway. The frontage on the river is spectacular! There are several indoor and outdoor seating areas to enjoy the view from. Very clean and well appointed living quarters. Well located for both summer and winter activities. We have family in the area and hope to be able to come back to this special place!'

'Honestly, I loved almost everything about the stay, great setup and comfortable space. However, the master bedroom had a very strong animal pee smell, which made it unusable. Also, the bathroom didn’t have any hand soap, which was inconvenient. Everything else was nice, but these issues definitely affected the experience.'

'Clean, convenient and spacious.'
