'We came to run the marathon for the first time in Chicago and we discovered an oasis in oak park. The location was close to the train to get into the city. The neighborhood was both historic and very walkable. A number of very good restaurants were near by. Host was excellent and very responsive to all our questions. I wish we had more time to explore.'

'If you're looking for something in Boys Town you could not ask for anything better, but with that comes challenges and parking and noise. There really is not parking provided but there is a parking permit available and then good luck finding parking anywhere nearby. It is a very nice facility and super clean. 'Mary Lou was so nice to chat with, and very helpful. Sharing with us the history of the home was so fun. Such a kind soul. The peace and quiet was so nice. Discovering the history of the home was so fun! Why are there no fireplaces?!? Basement? Crawl space? See what you can find. Play records on the…well, what is it? Victorola? Hmm But be respectful, put everything back as you found it, so others can enjoy it as we have.'

'The COOLEST place to stay. Quiet, has everything you could ever possibly need, and gives you the opportunity to meet new people! Ray has an incredible collection of pretty much everything, so you never get bored of looking around. The staff were all so welcoming, and made us feel taken care of every step of the way. 'They room was very nice. Clean with upgrades and decorated with ferrier decor, very clever. We enjoyed the deck and the view. We also walked on the drive back to the River house. It was getting late so we did not walk the trails, but we saw deer and one fearless fawn! We decided when we come back, we will try the River house, since it is in the woods and we would be more likely to walk the trails. Our only complaint is the room was cold and we did no figure out how to raise the temperature....

'I recently stayed at The Villa in the Euro Room, and it was such a lovely experience. The mansion was incredibly clean and beautifully styled, with so many charming details to admire.
