'My wife and I and our adult son stayed 10 nights in July/August for a nearby family gathering. The lodge was beautiful, spacious (bigger than we needed!), clean, comfortable, quiet and very well equipped -- we were easily able to prepare lasagne for 14 in the kitchen. The location is quiet with convenient access to nearby activities and amenities, but it all requires some driving. Unfortunately a combination of heat and Canadian wildfire smoke kept us from enjoying the extensive outside spaces...

'The cabin was beautiful and well stocked with cooking supplies, games, towels etc. The beds were super comfortable. The hosts have done every possible to make this a lovely stay including NOT leaving a long list of things to do before you leave. As other reviews state, the walk down to the lake is a bit long and steep, but there are stairs. I got my exercise. We were a bit disappointed that the lake was so green with algae that swimming anywhere near the cabin was out of the question, the...

'Exceeded expectations! The best of both worlds. Rustic, but with all of the amenities you could want. Perfectly private and secluded yet very close to Bayfield. Clean, fresh, and breezy. We loved the fully equipped kitchen, and the screened-in deck. There was no need to eat out. Online check in was easy, and we were able to get help via text when we needed extra towels and when we had a question about the TV. '

'This home is a great location for gatherings. It has 4 comfortable bedrooms and large open accommodating common spaces. Even though it rained almost our entire time the living spaces kept us having fun together at the large tables and great room style TV viewing room. We would have loved to have used the kayaks and canoe. Next time!'

'We just love these cottages and the community. It is absolutely beautiful in the summer and winter. Everything is clean and this cottage had all the kitchen utensils and equipment needed. The only think is the upstairs area gets quite warm to due to fireplace having to be on. Maybe install another ceiling fan in the bedroom? We just loved our stay and can't wait to visit again.'

'House was very nice and clean. Area was quiet and relaxing!! Fire pit a big bonus!! The stars and Milky Way were bright and visible from the decks and yard. Plenty of things to do nearby. Highly recommended!!'
