'Small hotel that had been recently remodeled and upgraded. We stayed in room 163. The room was exceptionally clean, and the parking was very easy to access. It was a good location, right off 40 at the Grand Canyon entrance. The staff was very kind. The view from the room would be my only negative comment, as it faced a back wall to another building.'

'Love the property and the big pine trees. Don't care for the coffee. Room was clean. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was pleasant. Quiet night. Lots of mosquitos outside and some managed to get into our room. Otherwise it was a very nice experience.'

'The railcar made this unique. Good comfortable bed, lots of towels for bathroom, well working ac, microwave and mini fridge in room. Railcar needs updating/remodeling and newer carpet and painting. It was a good place for 1 night!'

'THE GOOD: Quiet and set back from the main road, mature trees and lovely flower beds, nice communal areas (a piano player was there Sunday), great hot breakfast, friendly staff, terrific pool area, walking distance to some restaurants. THE BAD: Bathroom fan cover was coated with dust; some bed pillows were quite old (one had a few blood spots!) and need to be tossed, lobby upstairs carpet is stained. A special shout-out to Pamela and Naomi at the front desk - you made me feel welcome and...

'We checked in late (11 PM) after driving back from the Canyon, and check-in took a while, which wasn’t an issue per se. However, when we got to the room, we had it hadn’t been completely cleaned. The sofa was still pulled out and it had dirty sheets on it. The furniture was moved around and there were dirty dishes and empty shampoo bottles on the counter. We went back to the front desk and they gave us another room which was nice, but the keys didn’t work. After going back they still didn’t work...
