'I would say very cozy house vibe which I like the most. Moreover, we played snooker while enjoying the beer. Bar service was excellent. Beautiful views and traditional English breakfast, amazing though.'

'Highly recommended the hotel. The environment of the hotel is excellent and comfortable. The room is clean and tidy. My child like the playground and I enjoy the view around. Plenty of free parking space which is very convenient. The breakfast nearby is also wonderful and hotel resident got 10%off. We had a dinner in the hotel restaurant as well. The seafood skewer is very nice. No discount for residents though. '

'I wanted to check in fast and visit an important attraction before they closed. The reception lady indicated that by law she had to check us in right away and show us the room. I asked if I could leave my bags in the lobby and check in after and she said, "If I did that she could not grantee she could check us in." because she would be too busy. I was thinking that she had no choice in the matter to do so and if I had arrived at 8pm she would have to check me in if she liked it or not. ??'

'Very friendly and helpful staff. I was staying alone and all the staff made me feel welcome. All areas of the Portreath Arms clean and tidy. Room was excellent. Slept well. '

'I went for my birthday & chose the hotel for the location, stunning views & closeness to the Minack theatre. Stunning location, right on the beach, the staff were very attentive and couldn't have done more and all in all made it a very special stay for my birthday. '

'I loved my stay here, the location is lovely, surrounded by countryside, the room very comfortable and clean, the staff very friendly and helpful and the food was amazing, especially the Sunday carvery! I will definitely stay at The Dunoon again and highly recommend it.'
