'We had a wonderful stay here and would absolutely recommend it to others! The hosts were incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive throughout our trip. They communicated very promptly over messages and calls, and gave us clear information about parking, amenities, and check-in/check-out which made everything stress-free from the start. 'De kamers zijn onberispelijk, het personeel en nieuwe eigenaren Allison en Graham zijn erg vriendelijk en gastvrij. Het ontbijt was een prima English breakfast met voldoende keuze. Koffie was goed! Wij gebruikten de locatie als uitvalsbasis naar Holy Island en de Northumbrian coastline. Het strand waaraan dit hotel ligt - Spittal beach - is niet echt bijzonder. De stad zelf is historisch prachtig met zijn bruggen en stadsmuur. '
