Waterfront Cabin Met spectaculaire zonsondergangen met uitzicht op de Chesapeake Bay

Genesteld op een klif met uitzicht op de beroemde Susquehanna Flats van de Chesapeake Bay, biedt onze voortuin een 180 graden uitzicht op de baai met prachtige zonsondergangen. Het gebied biedt wereldklasse vissen, krabben en watersporten. Of u nu van zeilen of motorboot houdt of gewoon van het kijken naar de boten die voorbij gaan - dit is de plek voor u. Ook een paradijs voor natuurliefhebbers met dagelijkse zeearend waarnemingen en Osprey nestelen midden in de voortuin.

Onze hut heeft twee slaapkamers en een slaapzolder, allemaal met queensize bedden - alle beddengoed is aanwezig en inbegrepen. We hebben een open cabine-concept met uitzicht op het water vanuit elke kamer. Woonkamer met open haard, eetkamer, keuken met vaatwasser, ligbad met douche, zitgedeelte met uitzicht op water, centrale airconditioning, wasmachine / droger, wifi, flatscreen televisie en stereosysteem. Dek met bubbelbad en gasgrill. Buitendouche, visreinigingsstation, stenen terras met buiteneethoek, picknicktafel voor krabfeesten, zitgedeelte met blufzijde en adirondack stoelen om te genieten van het spectaculaire uitzicht en de zonsondergang. Seizoensgebonden gemeenschap Dock toegang met zandbodem zwemmen gebied is binnen voetstappen van onroerend goed. Een kwart mijl zandstrand en boothelling is een korte wandeling in de straat. Strandhanddoeken zijn aanwezig.

Schilderachtige winkels en goede restaurants liggen op een korte zeven mijl rijden naar de stad Noord-Oost. Elk Neck State park biedt wandel- en mountainbikeroutes, camping aan het water, vuurtoren, boothelling, openbaar strand, spectaculair uitzicht op het water aan de klif en is slechts een korte 6 mijl rijden. Wij zijn gunstig gelegen vlak bij de I-95 tussen Philadelphia en Baltimore - een uur rijden ten noorden en ten zuiden. Washington DC is ook gemakkelijk bereikbaar 2 uur ten zuiden van ons. Historisch Havre de Grace ligt aan de overkant van de baai en is gemakkelijk bereikbaar per boot of 20 minuten rijden met veel restaurants, vuurtoren, wandeltochten, musea en winkels. Wij zijn gelegen op 20 mijl van de Universiteit van Delaware.

Serene weekend in Northeast

My family and pup stayed here for a long weekend in Spring and got to thoroughly enjoy this home. The view of the bay is serene from the front lawn (which looks down on an osprey nest, complete with chick), the front sitting/dining room with it's perfect reading chairs, or the hot tub on the porch! Every morning was greeted with a symphony of songbirds, and we did get a couple really gorgeous sunsets on the bay. The kitchen was well equipped, and we even got fresh eggs, bread, and a cinnamon roll from the produce stand on the road in. Beds/linens were super comfortable - and my kids enjoyed the board games, particularly the worst-case scenario game. We really appreciated all of the info that Sue sent for us to enjoy the area. I would recommend this home to anyone who wanted to stay in the upper bay area.

Relaxing Water View Retreat

You feel welcomed at the cabin immediately because of the water view and then the attention to detail inside the cabin. We enjoyed sitting at the water, watching sunsets over the water, walking to the beach, seeing eagles. Thank you Sue for all your great communication. We will want to come back.

Cozy cabin

My friends and I wanted a relaxing getaway with beautiful views and that is exactly what we got. Sue was so wonderful and when there was a massive snowstorm expected to come on our arrival date, she offered to change the dates to accommodate us. Everything was wonderful and we had the best stay.

Winter Ladies Weekend

We all had a great time at the cottage. It was very cozy, well cared for and loaded with personality. The kitchen was well-stocked and easy to navigate. The beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed the wood burning fireplace that was all ready to be lit upon arrival. It was the perfect spot to have cocktails, watch football, play games and catch up! The view of the bay was lovely while having morning coffee, watching the birds and admiring the sunsets. I highly recommend a visit!

Beautiful Houses!

We rented both of Sue's amazing houses for a family getaway. The properties are amazing! The views are wonderful. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing, with amazing bird watching. We cooked a lot of our meals, and the kitchens are well stocked with all the amenities. The crab room makes for a perfect dinner spot. Most importantly, all the beds are really comfortable. My family is already planning for a return trip.

We loved our stay here. I visited with my teenagers and we all enjoyed swimming at the dock and the beach. The house was great and had everything we needed, and the location, with stunning views of the bay and a short drive to the town of North East, was perfect. We all want to come back again!

Nothing short of amazing!

As soon as we arrived I wanted to message Sue and thank her for sharing such a special place with us. The views are breathtaking! We stayed for a weekend to attend a wedding nearby and the house had everything we needed. The “neighborhood” it’s in is great and all of the neighbors were wonderful. Amazing Views

We had a great get-away for a few days with our friends. The cabin was in a quiet neighborhood with amazing views. Pre-thanksgiving getaway

This is a wonderful place to get away - which we did for 5 days right before thanksgiving. We stayed with our two adult children in this lovely cabin which is light (skylights), super clean and has lots of nice touches. Reading from the sunroom in the front of the house was stunning, and we utilized both the wood fireplace in the house and the firepit overlooking the bay to build memories. Sunsets from the hot tub were spectacular, and the number of games and puzzles provided were well used. We will be back. Thank you so much.

Perfect Chesapeake Sunsets

We had a lovely visit to Red Point in October. The house is just as pictured-cute and clean. Sue was a lovely host, quick to reply and provided everything from a stick of butter and condiments, a full kitchen to cook like a chef and plenty of firewood, games, towels and detergent. She even provided an oyster knife quickly to us when asked if there was one at the house. While it was just my husband and me, I couldn’t see more than another couple or a few kids staying, though it sleeps 6. Two rooms do have skylights so keep that in mind for sleeping. The cottages are close together but their area of land overlooking the bluffs across a tiny unpaved road really makes the property. There are chairs and a firepit for taking in the beautiful sunsets. Just a short walk, not even two cottages down, there is a common area with steps leading down to the water. The long dock was pulled in for the winter but we still fished from the dock that remained. You can also walk to the beach access down the road, which is probably great for the summer. The wood burning fireplace and star gazing from the hot tub were perfect for our nights and it’s a quiet community if you want to relax. We ventured to the Main Street of town a few times for lunch or dinner, fancy donuts and a take out Italian market. Other retail is not much further for a groceries, etc.. Sarge’s Bait shop was very informative and an easy hike to the lighthouse was great for a beautiful afternoon. A great stay!
