'Ran by a wonderful couple who are really friendly and accommodating. The lodge is in a beautiful location and the facilities and room are lovely. Breakfast was included and we were asked beforehand what we wanted so it would be ready for the time we requested. And it tasted wonderful. Me and my girlfriend have visited here twice now and I'd greatly recommend a stay here.'

'We had a great couple of days. The room was very spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. We were well looked after and would definitely stay here again the next time we visit the Lake District. '

Staff were outstanding and responsive to all requests and questions. Nice dining area and presentation. Great central location to Grasmere village.
