'Stayed one night for the Lytham Festival recently. Check in was smooth, hosts very friendly. Quirky little place with a nice vibe. Rooms are good, but can see its probably time for a bit of an update and maintenance as feel a little outdated. Bed was very very soft and me and my husband rolled together as there wasnt too much support in the mattress, but we still had a decent nights sleep. 'Once again a brilliant stay'

'Nice comfortable double. The room was a good temperature throughout the stay. If known was going to be placed in a room facing the road would have brought earplugs as I am not used to traffic. Reception was very helpful and quick check in made sure that my car was in sight of the security cameras. Happy to use this hotel again.'

'Nice people on the reception offering walking guides just to use as soon as we told we were planning to do some walking in the Lake District. The rooms were spaceous and very clean. 'I booked a standard ensuite double room but upgraded to the Tudor Suite. I chose this hotel because it is hundreds of years old, which is something we don’t get to experience much in the USA!
