'Beautiful, fairy tales behind stay. The breakfast and evening meals were less good. There was also no possibility to eat in the village.Luckily the cook was kind enough to make a steak sandwich for us for the lunch.The staff were very helpful.'

'We liked our room, the view it gave us over the countryside was brilliant. We struggled with the coffee maker, and gave up on it- some instructions would have helped. 'Such a quaint old Welsh building in a lovely rural setting just outside of the market town of Ruthin (it is in the middle of a static caravan park but a very pleasant one). 'This an impotant historic property with fabulous grounds but has been upgraded to a clinical level. Very clean but no soul. Needs aome fwminine touches. Shelving, pictures, hooks etc. No retaurant facilities or breakfast. Basic but adequate'
