'Excellent location, but serviceable accommodation. While acknowledging Sydney prices, and over the Christmas period, at the price point (2k for 3 nights) amenities could have been better to be honest. While tidy enough, it needed a deep clean, the courtyard was a bit of a jungle, and the appliances need replacing (for e.g. TV didn’t really work whether terrestrial or trying to access apps through the attached dongle - not a smart TV). There were no wine glasses, and the main shower was leaky....

'Unable to drive to the entrance to check in, had to navigate car parking area whose entrance was difficult to find & then take the lift to reception. Daughter found that appliances & kitchenware in cupboards were dirty. Iron hotplate had something burnt & stuck to it so was unusable. No water in fridge, one small carton of milk, three teabags. There was a couple of small areas of rust in bathroom. Looked like someone had banged maybe a suitcase into the wall & taken a chunk of plaster...

'This accommodation was one of the best parts of my stay in Sydney. The host cleaned every day, and the room was spacious, equipped with hangers, a clothing rack, a fridge, a kettle, and a microwave. I loved that I could do most things privately inside the room. There was also a desk, a chair, and a window with plenty of sunlight. There’s a Woolworths nearby, and many restaurants available through Uber Eats, which made everything very convenient. The place is also easy to find — it’s the house...
