'It's not a great area surrounding the hotel but we never felt scared or unsafe. The room we got was amazing. Spacious, lots of beds to use, all the appliances we needed, full fridge, lots of seating. Would love to stay here again. Didn't mind the parking across the street. It's not far. $25/night. The front desk workers were very nice and helpful. The elevators were clean and quick. There were places to eat around us like local restaurants. '

'The Gilmore is a Queen space that feels like a cottage or a small home. It’s definitely a good place to stay if you are on a budget and want somewhere that’s clean.. they could improve on accessibility and keeping the common area more organized and clean. '

'I really liked my stay. The location is great on the well known Venice Beach Boardwalk, the beach is literally 5 steps away. On the rooftop you can chill as well with a great view. Rooms are nice as well, beautiful bathroom and good bed to sleep in when you are not out in Venice and/or Santa Monica.'

Venice overdag is prima, ‘s avonds is het minder relaxed aan het strand waar veel zwervers overnachten. Ze vallen je niet lastig, maar zorgen wel voor geluidsoverlast in de nacht. 'It's my second time here, and I don't want to recommend about this place bc if more people come they will raise their prices, which as for now are very reasonable and it's much better then a hotel room in my opinion. Full kitchen, washing machine, clean fun and comfortable. Don't come here, I want availability and the same price on my next visit here ;) . '
