I even noticed the drapes had been changed out for a lighter shade, which really helped the brighten the space that could be considered somewhat dark. The air is still not working great. 'Econolodge is a budget hotel (in spite of the 150 pn) and the rooms were clean, sufficient towels. The householdstaff was friendly, the bathroom clean. There was a microwave and a fridge. Room was super-clean, it was quiet, the ac kept the room a perfect temperature, and the shower was amazing! Everyone who works there is very friendly. Would have preferred to have been given a sheet of paper or have something in the room with the info. It was hard to remember it all and the front desk stayed busy so it took waiting in line to ask questions. Pool was out of towels for the entire hour+ we were there. But pool was nice. View from roof top was fantastic. Room was clean, smart set up for coming from beach....

"Good place next to time square, clean hotel, good beds, rooms for 4 persons aren somewhat small if you have suitcases, but doable. Breakfast is proper and included (just missing basic options for bread such as cheese and ham).
The elevator situation especially around breakfast time is terrible. There are 5 elevators for over 30+ floors. If you are below level 20 there is a fair chance that you have to wait +10 mins for a elevator thats not full.
Further is the rooftop bar not just to but you must take a table. Outside space is limited, while inside the airco is on turbo.
Staff in general is nice, there is a basic but well maintained gym and they offer taxi services in case u need one to the airport. Conclusion, eventhough the elevator situation I would return."

It’s the perfect base for exploring New York, with major attractions and public transportation all within easy walking distance. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The only downside was the $100 per hour charge for late checkout, which felt a bit steep. That said, we absolutely enjoyed our time here and would gladly come back!"
