'Absolutely disgusting! I would rather sleep on the street! The online pictures looked okay. But in person is appalling. I went through Expedia and had them ask for a refund. The owners said no to the refund of 7 days I had booked. I'm out $400. They don't even try to make this place look nice. There are not even towels. If this is your last option. 'Great historic hotel right on the river bank. The room was nice with a good size bathroom. The bed was a bit soft for our taste, but otherwise comfortable. There is not really a lot of shelve space, so if you're not travelling light, you might struggle to unpack. Every room has a nice terras. The pool is clean, but unheated. Breakfast is at The Mermaid Cafe, 2 door down from the hotel, and it can get very busy there later in the morning. Come early if you want a guaranteed table. Coffee and tea...
