'One (probably the smallest) of several lodgings on the property. Overall, a pretty cool place to stay. The whole unit has a subtle sway to rock you to sleep. Personally, I loved it. We stayed in 90 degree weather and the A/C was a LIFESAVER. My only real complaint was one of the other guests in the castle kept leaving the common kitchen a bit messy. Thinking about coming back and trying the hobbit house. We pretty much kept to ourselves, but there are plenty of common areas to hang out.'

'My teen son and I stayed for two nights to hike in the area. It was as described in the photos/description and met our expectations. It was an easy walk to the White Oak Canyon trailhead, and my son loved the swimming holes accessible from the two trails there. We also hiked Old Rag. We wanted to make sure to do the full circuit with the rock scramble. 'The Natchez in Ruckersville is equidistant from the Shenandoah National Park entrance at Swift Gap and Charlottesville. We spent time in both, in this well equipped, cozy cabin as our home base. And there are plenty of fine wineries nearby as well. Enjoyed our stay!'

'We give this a 12 out of 10! Stonemont cabin is beautiful. Spacious and airy-meticulously clean. Kitchen stocked, bathroom roomy with a washer and dryer and the loft bedroom was lovely and cozy. The property was massive and full of wildlife to watch and listen. Less than 5 miles away were 4 wonderful vineyards to tour. The owners were super kind and ready to help at anytime. We can’t wait to go back again. Thank you for a fantastic home away from home. '

'We wanted to check out the area for a possible move coming up. Although, it was a bit more in the woods and up into the mountain than I had realized (people were not kidding when they said to make sure you have 4 wheel drive) it was a really great stay for us. My husband and two sons had to meet us there the second day so I guess that is why the cabin straight in the woods was a bigger deal to me and my daughter going it alone.
