'We enjoyed our overnight stay at this hotel. The staff was courteous. Shout out to Nick at the front desk who was professional, friendly and greeted us as we left for the evening and returned to the hotel. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The pillows were also very nice and not too thick like most hotel pillows. The location was excellent for access to Louisville via the new bridge or to Jeffersonville via I-265 or Highway 62. 'There was no one at the desk when we were trying to check in. There was a line waiting and I called the number shown at the service desk and it just rang back at the desk. I finally called again and the clerk came in from outside. He never apologized for not being there and acted like we were an inconvenience. He was also speaking so softly that he had to keep repeating himself. I have stayed here in the past and never had a problem. I hope the guy was just having an off day.'

'I forgot my earrings on the bathroom counter. Immediately noticed after checkout. Went straight back to get them but they had already been stolen!!! The maid hadn’t even cleaned the room. Just gone in and had the door open'

'The building, room, and furniture all seem to be brand new. (Obviously an older mom and pops that was remodeled well.) I wasn't able to sample the breakfast because I had to leave early, but the property was clean, the desk staff was available later in the evening, and the price was very competitive with my Expedia status. What a pleasant surprise! The location was convenient and I would definitely stay here again.'

'Excellent! Just one word, excellent! The staff, Sammy the Manager and Jacqueline the bartender, were beyond friendly and accommodating. Felt like we were visiting with friends. The facility is so nice. Clean and well maintained. Rooms are spacious and well stocked. Breakfast was fantastic! They served REAL bacon! Most of the time it's just sausage patties but Residence Inn does REAL bacon! YUM! The only negative I have to say is that there is not an awning at the front door so if it's raining,...

'Property is either pretty new or very well renovated. Everything smelled fresh. Breakfast was typical motel breakfast. I wasn’t able to use the gym but it looked nice. The only inconvenience was that I had already done the online check in, which was supposed to save time, but still had to complete the full check in process in person. Overall, one of the best budget motels that I have stayed in.'

'For the price I would not stay here again. The rooms are ok but nothing great and are certainly showing their age. The breakfast was not very good. The best feature was that it was within walking distance of downtown.'
