'Inaki Uhi has a great location "downtown" Hanga Roa. There are a couple of supermarkets close to the hotel and a bakery next door (empañadas!) and some good restaurants across the road. Its a small walk to the "harbor" (mainly a few small boats for fishing and scubadiving). Alvaro, the host, knows a lot about the island so try taking a tour with him! The wifi works but isn't really fast.'

'This was a great stay at Tupa Hotel. A warm welcome at the airport. A great professional and cute staff ! Everyday you really saw the room was cleaned and they did an amazing job. 'We LOVED our stay here! From the pre-check in communication to our ride back to the airport to go back to Santiago, it was amazing. Wolf, the owner, went above and beyond to ensure we had an incredible trip. The breakfast was wonderful, the fellow guests were great too! 'The place is very open, peaceful, clean and very friendly, helpful accommodating staff. Breakfast is sufficient. Kenatea, the manager is very nice. Our flight is not until late in the afternoon and she let us stayed in our room until we are ready to leave for our flight. '

'When we arrived at the property we found out that we didn't have a reservation with the hotel-even though Expedia had said that we were booked- so that was quite a surprise as you can imagine !With the island being heavily booked we were worried but the front desk lady was so wonderfully good that she took control of our situation and found us a spot at another hotel right next door for one night.
