'We loved the location, the fact that there are no rooms under or above us, the perfect placement of closet, bed and bathroom. So quiet - the wonderful sound of the ocean waves lulling us to sleep. Thoughtful touches everywhere. Room service is swift and food is prepared perfectly we will return! '

'I was on the first floor, so the ocean was certainly not in view, and there were multiple houses in front of this house-like hotel so I doubt there was much of a view on the second floor.
The water is very hot. The floors were heated even the toilet seat was heated. The whole experience was very luxurious and clean. They provide you with everything you might need minus clothes so no worries if you forget your toothbrush or your loofah.

'Aardig hotelletje op rustige locatie in een soort woonwijk, op loopafstand van het centrum (wel steil).
Ontbijt wordt dagelijks in een mand voor de deur gezet en bestaat uit een gevulde croissant met vers fruit en yoghurt.
Het hotel is verouderd, alles is gedateerd, maar wel netjes. Wij vonden de prijs belachelijk hoog voor wat er geboden wordt maar dat komt waarschijnlijk door de ligging. Er is geen zwembad, enkel een kleine hottub'

'We chose this hotel for its location and were not disappointed. It is very close to point lobos, downtown Carmel, and 17 mile drive. The views were really spectacular. We wanted a pool--so staying in a cute little inn in downtown Carmel or something wasn't really for us. So this hotel checked those boxes. I typically really love Hyatts as well, but this one probably has seen better days. Few things to note:

'This place is a 10 out of 10 on the beach! The views are gorgeous and you have direct beach access with fluffy soft sand just steps from your room. The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable and include everything that you need. The on-site restaurant is delicious and there is a huge pool, big hot tub and games scattered around the property including a bocce ball court where you can have fun, relax and hear the ocean.
