'I was very surprised at the beauty of this beachhouse and the fact that we could have our dogs with us as well as extended family. There was so much thoughtfulness...everything from plenty of dishes and pots/pans to scissors in the drawer which we used numerous times. 'I rented this place for the pier, which I thought met all of my qualifications for a perfect fishing pier out into a bay. And it did! Over about a 48 hour period I caught between 30 and 40 speckled trout (about 1/3 on lures under lights, and the rest on live shrimp one afternoon). Unfortunately, they probably averaged about 13 inches, so they all went back in the water. Also maybe a dozen gafftops, about half of them legal. Lotsa fun.'

'My family is from Palacios and we have stayed at several homes there and this is by far the best home we have stayed in. My mother passed away on Monday morning and we decided to still go to Palacios and celebrate her. I will definitely be staying here again. The property was fully furnished. Plenty of towels, kitchen essentials and games for the kids. Not to mention the cable was a plus.'

'We've stayed three times in this neighborhood and this has been our favorite property so far. Kevin and Fran have made lots of updates. It's great having the boat dock at the house and a public ramp right down the street. While the fish didn't cooperate this time, we still had a blast celebrating Easter and hanging out with friends.'

'The host was very responsive and communication was great. The house was as described and we enjoyed our stay and the easy walk to the beach. 'Great property within a very short walk to beach. We used the property while there to participate in a fishing tournament. It has everything needed on site, so hassle free after a long on the water fishing. You can park your boat on the property in front of the house which is great. Neighborhood is quiet and there is a gate requiring a code to get into the community. The check in process was a breeze.'

'Bobbie &Matt were excellent hosts, allowing us to set up last minute accommodations for my wife's 60th birthday getaway. The home is in a great location near the beach and close to enough to town for any last minute things we needed from Stanleys.
