'Amazing hotel. The views were incredible and a nice short walk into the town. The restaurant (The Frame) service was not great. The gentleman at the bar greeted us very poorly (when we asked how he was he straight up said bad and was clearly overwhelmed with the 12 people with tables. He could not make the right drinks and had to call in help. They tried to make up by offering small plates but still ended up charging full price for everything including the wrong drinks. I would stay here again...

'I had a wonderful stay here at Locanda il Maestrale. The owners are very pleasant, the breakfast is good with excellent cappuccino (important for me in the morning :)), the location in Monterosso is perfect and the room was clean and spacious. I needed some rest when I came and I slept very well. I would recommend Il Maestrale to everyone. '

Coming back to the suite at the end of a day of exploring was sooooo rewarding. Our host went over the top to ensure we had everything we needed and she was a huge help in itinerary shifts and advice that made our trip to Riomaggiore so incredibly memorable. 'Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons eu le droit à un excellent accueil, un bon café et de très bons conseils sur la ville et sur les visites à faire. 'We only stayed one night at this hotel. The staff was very welcoming and warm. They took the time to explain the details about the hotel and the village (Monterosso). They also explained getting around by train or boat to explore the villages. They were very knowledgeable. Should we come back to the region, we will definitely stay here again. Also they have great Julius Meinl coffee for anyone who likes good coffee!! As well, their dog, Elvis, is adorable! Thanks for everything!'
