'I can't say enough for how much my husband and I enjoyed our stay. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. Our room was clean, housekeeping offered daily. Pool was very clean and tidy. Continental breakfast offered with clean and well tended dining area. This motel reminded me of places I stayed as a kid, very nostalgic. These folks offer true hospitality.'

'Having been in for the Boilermaker, we found this location to be of good value and within a close proximity to the race. The staff were friendly and accommodating allowing us to come back after the race for a late check out so we could shower. There's a Walmart nearby so it was convenient if we needed anything. Ultimately, we'd be glad to do it all over again next year for the race.'

'A little out of the way as really nothing in the area you could walk to. Stores, restaurants, etc a short drive away. We were conveniently placed at the back of the hotel near an exit as we were with our dog, so maybe other areas of the hotel seem brighter. A decent stopover with an included breakfast but nothing special.'

'The Grand Colonial is a great choice for a temporary home in the Herkimer area. So rich in American Revolutionary history, the old mansion is an historic relic that is kept up-to-date by its current owners. Mike was our host, and he couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We give it our highest recommendation.'

'The surrounding area looks economically depressed and we had some initial concerns about safety. Check in was easy. We were provided with two keys for the front door and room door. The house is well maintained and in keeping with original design. We stayed in the wine and roses room which is next door to the kitchen. If you like to sleep in, this is not the room for you due to breakfast noise. The breakfast was good and timely. There was a hot option (bread pudding and chicken and herb sausage)...

'I booked a "superior room" on Expedia at a slightly higher cost. The bill from Oneida CM said "standard room". I sent a message to OCM asking in what way my room is "superior", but I didn't get an answer. The "superior" room pictured on Expedia (with red curtains) does exist, but I was assigned a somewhat smaller room than it. All guest rooms in OCM have private baths (this is not made clear on Expedia) and I advise future guests to save their money and book standard rooms. Otherwise the...

'I absolutely loved the stay! I usually have a lower budget for traveling and at first was hesitant because it was a little higher. I’m personally glad we stayed there! Our trip was based on going to the casino with my client that I help bring into the community with disabilities. Check in was very easy, I was delighted to find out they had a 24 hour shuttle from the casino! The pool was small but clean.
