'If you are looking for a spot that has character this, is it, it was a cozy old place above a pub. We went in the off season, so we had the place to ourselves. Nice little bookshelf filled with some fun activities to pass extra time off devices too! The food in the pub was not great for the price we paid, but the breakfast was amazing! '

The next time they said it we wanted to shower we had to do it in another room, however they asked us to share this room key with other people which wasn’t what we thought when booking. 'Bathroom was clean, though pillows had make-up stains on and the heating was only turned on when we arrive so took a while to warm up. Staff friendly when we arrived. it is above a pretty noisy pub with inside steps from the pub or a fire escape style staircase from outside. Could hear a couple having an arguemnt on the street below as well. All in all, convenient if needing to be in area but not one if you need somewhere a bit more accessible or quiet.'

'As always, hospitality is defined by the people who provide it. The hotel staff was magnificent in this regard. From the breakfast servers to the front desk, everyone was kind, helpful and wore a smile. A special mention for the cleaning staff who did an excellent job every morning. Breakfast was delicious with options such as eggs Florentine and eggs Benedict, although as a continental European i would have liked to have seen some cheeses at the buffet.
