'The cottage is fine and it is in a nice location BUT the details of the cottage listed on the Expedia website and Sykes Cottages are different and misleading. Expedia shows the cottage to be within the Penzance city centre & 8 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The cottage is 8 miles (13 kms.) from the Penzance city centre. 'Well-equipped and tastefully decorated barn and plenty of space for the kids to play outside. And they just loved picking fresh blackberries on our way from the barn to the beach. The beaches were amongst the most beautiful beaches that I’ve ever seen, and right at our doorstep! The owners also put together a very useful welcome pack with lots of things to see and do. 'What a wonderful gem! The accommodation is as lovely as the pictures show. Very clean and spacious and has everything you need including some outdoor space. We were pleasantly surprised by this place and it’s one of our favourite properties to date. The location is absolutely superb. Lovely trail walk to the coastal trail but secluded enough that it’s quiet and private. There’s a trail across the fields to get to a great little pub with excellent food. 'Stayed here for a week during the Kernowman triathlon. Needed something on a budget and this more than delivered. Excellent facilities. Some quirks that might make access difficult if you have limited mobility but this is addressed by a stair lift. This is also referenced in the property details. Staff were very friendly.'
