'I have stayed at many super 8 and similar motels (e.g., motel 6), and they’re usually all similarly ok. This one was absolutely horrible. Long black hairs on the bathroom floor, a puddle of something that looked like water, but was actually some kind of pool on the bathroom floor, dirt and dust in every corner. No shampoo, no breakfast (despite advertising “juice or coffee and a breakfast item”), not even hot water. We accidentally left clothes in the bathroom and called them about it a few...

'Going back in time!! Very friendly staff. A great place to stay! Not the modern stuff, no TV at the room! WiFi is ok. Just one hour away from SF. And an whole other world! Like going back to the 60ies!!'

'A very affordable and clean option when needing to be in proximity to Novato and San Rafael. The drive to Downtown Novato was less than 10 minutes - there's a variety of neighborhood restaurants, mom and pop shops, and more. The hotel is located at the end of Redwood Boulevard, and it being off a freeway at the base of Mount Burdell gave a get-away feeling. The staff is very helpful and accommodating.
