'From check-in to check-out the staff were accommodating, attentive, and courteous. The room was perfect in every way for myself, my husband, and two adult sons. LOVED the natural soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion! What I disliked was the very personal and loud conversation of 2 female staff on 7/12/26 at the continental breakfast. It interfered with my morning solitude .'

'The first room was terrible in the older section of the property. It was dangerous to get to. I fell twice trying to get to the room. The stairs were treacherous. OSHA would Not approve this area,especially for seniors. The replacement room was just OK, especially for the rate that was charged. Other members of the family had nicer accommodations in Taos for less money'

'This accommodation is positioned outside of town in a local neighborhood. While the property is not in a remote location, it is relatively enclosed with obscured views of nearby residential streets and houses. The guesthouse features a relatively small number of rooms each with individual external access. The rooms open to a central courtyard with external seating outside of most of them. Guests have access to a small cozy dining area open 24/7 that features coffee/tea, small library of books...

'The property is very dated, dark and depressing. There is no grass or yard around the pool area, and you had to go through a colony of gophers to get to the pool. The breakfast was good, but the area again was dark, hot and grease smelling. Never again!'

'We loved our stay at Casa Escondida. From beginning to end, the communication was excellent. Our food preferences were asked for, and our instructions for getting there were clearly defined. The breakfast was superb both days, and our chef shared local information and what we might like to see for that day. All the staff were so nice, and the people staying there at the same time as us were equally lovely.'

'Delightful, modernized adobe compound with only 7-8 comfortable and inviting suites. Breakfast was served at a communal table with glass drinking glasses, ceramic plates and mugs, and metal cutlery. The rooms also had glasses and ceramic mugs. Comfortable chairs and beds. I would have liked better lighting, but still better than most hotels. Good restaurants and shopping within walking distance. There was a thunderstorm one afternoon and it was so nice to stay in our room, cozy and comfortable....

'My daughter and I stayed in the “two twin room” overlooking the Main Street of Taos. It was a really neat room, despite the surprising bustling of traffic on this road! Staff was wonderful, the energy of the place is fun, vibrant, communal, yet everyone has plenty of space to tuck away. We definitely want to come back!'
