You could easily spend the day just walking the trails, rowing in the little boat, playing with the dogs and ponies and going in the hot tub. 'I’ve known of this place for two decades and understand it had been acquired by new owners. We were advised two days before arrival, after paying in full, that the pool was closed due to water shortage ( on arrival were told it was a broken pipe) along with the gym. The location is also experiencing a severe staff shortage which means housekeepers are overwhelmed with simple requests. Restaurant staff were excellent but the restaurant was closed one of the two nights ( this is high season) . I...
