'This is not a standard hotel. It's a set of parked classic trailers (like Airstreams). Instead of a room or a suite you get a trailer - so it's basically a small apartment. Hotel management wants to keep the trailers as close to their original furnishings and mechanical systems as possible, but that's a challenge, so there are some things that don't work perfectly. If you require perfection, this isn't the hotel for you. But, if you enjoy a bit of nostalgia and whimsy and can work with the very...

'Solo traveled and so glad I chose this location. So much history and so conveniently located! I walked everywhere from here. And Live music every evening in the lobby. Room was cozy!'

'We had a wonderful room, fabulous breakfast and a very comfortable stay'

'Historisch hotel, fraai ingericht met originele elementen. Kamers, zijn nogal gehorig.'

'Beautiful hotel situated on lovely grounds with trees and paths. King bed was comfortable with nice linens. Balcony was pleasant. Room was heavy on animal skins and hallways are lined with antlers, so if you're not into that, beware. Large bathtub looks great (and it was), but a bit treacherous to step out of. We enjoyed drinks and appetizers in the bar, which is very nice. Friendly, helpful staff. Can't speak to the spa amenities, but they look inviting.'

'Good breakfast'

'Perfect for us. 2 dogs and close to town!! Very clean'

'extremely memorable stay. loved everything except the food wasn't awesome in my opinion.'

'Love this place. Delicious freshly made breakfast, including their homemade granola, and friendly welcoming folks. Taos was especially beautiful, despite a bit of rain, in mid/late October. Loved having the gas fire kiva. My husband found the low, small sink tough to navigate in our room, but this was a minor inconvenience and we will be sure to get a different room next time as we plan on coming back. Charming accommodations, quiet and beautiful. Highly recommend.'
