'While the room was spacious and clean the unstaffed hotel can feel inhospitable and unwelcoming. The notice that you’ll be removed from your room if you have someone over to do little more than wait for an Uber resulted in an uncomfortable and awkward situation. The lock code was obvious when assigned and troublesome not working within several tries, the code to the ice and water also stopped working on our second day, resulting in no water or ice on our second night.'

'It's a pet peeve of mine when hotels send a million pre-check-in automated emails through these systems but then can't update you about important things during your stay, like the fact that the pool, a main attraction, was closed. It was open in the morning when we left and we altered our day to come back and use it only to find out it was closed with no explanation. Additionally, the front desk concessions were also "out of order" though they seemed to be functioning, so there was no way to...

'Very nice hotel. The room was according expectations, the swimming pool also. All was well, except for the breakfast. Staff looked angry and tired. No cold drinks, also food was scarce. Terrible. After consulting the reception, the cold drinks were replenished. But 15 minutes later everything was empty, again!'

'Our stay here was great with little to no complaints. It was close enough (15-20 mins) to downtown Charleston or surronding attractions and of course, very close to the airport. We arrived late evening and the staff were all so kind. The breakfast was standard but they do offer free drinks and hot food in the evening which I've never seen before! 'The rooms were clean and spacious. Loved the kitchen. If you need a cook top and pans all you have to do is ask the front desk. Fridge was a little smaller than pictured but still big enough. Breakfast was good. Every morning had a slight change in the menu which we enjoyed.'

'Whole room was dirty and had pet poop and pee on the carpet and human hair in the bathroom. Entire bed vibrated the entire night due to the generator outside.'
