'We liked the fact that it was within walking distance from all the major sites. Also close to many local, not tourist restaurants. And kind off in local neighborhood. Wish the instructions would have indicated that there was extra coffee and toilet paper in a cabinet by reception on a help yourself basis. Other than that, excellent place to stay. And it suited our needs perfectly.'

'We stayed there during Easter holidays and they had literally just opened up. Everything was brand new and really tastefully decorated. Attention to detail was immeculate, toiletries of very high standard and a mini bar included. The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming. We chose this location as it's away from the touristy part of the city but close enough for easy access. It's within walking distance to Trastevere and it's many restaurants but you can also get an insight into how locals...

'The hotel is clean, quiet, perfect neighborhood and we loved the room. We could walk around Trastevere, take a bus or tram in front of the hotel and the bar downstairs was perfect to start or end the day. We had a lovely stay and will be back soon! Roma è sempre bella Roma!'

'The rooms are newly remodeled and very comfortable. Plenty of food markets, restaurants and cafes within a few feet of the building. Also excellent public transportation within the distance of 1 block the center of Rome (Plaza Venezia) or any other part you want to go. Trastevere train station to other cities in Italy just 10 min walk. Breakfast was good(cappuccino, croissant, juice, cheese sandwich and yogurt) but the same everyday. Since they bring it to your room you have no choice.'

'Relais Garbatella is well-situated in a very local Roman neighborhood in Garbatella. A hop skip from Colosseum, 3 metro stops away on Line A and also conveniently accessible to Termini; might I mention that the Garbatella metro station is only 2.5 streets/blocks away. My liking of Relais Garbatella began well before stepping foot on the property. Luca’s above and beyond hospitality came in the form of openness with accommodation requests, answering questions about Rome, or needing extra supplies...

'The hotel was beautiful, the staff was exceptional, and the room was spacious and felt luxurious. Nice breakfast. Big plus is the quite terras where you can unwind, get a quick bite and look out onto the Capitol Hill. The cocktails are outstanding. Location is excellent. 5 min walk from old forum, 10 min from great dinner places at Travestere, you can walk to the city centre/shopping areas.
