'The owners are extremely nice and if you are looking for a tranquil getaway in the middle of nature, this will be great for you. The grounds and surrounding area are really beautiful. However, if you are just looking for something quaint near Girona, as we were, it was not what we expected. This is basically "glamping". I think everyone would be happier if the property description was clearer about how rustic it really is. It is sort of "at the end of the earth" and we had a lot of difficulty...

'This is a ghost hotel and has no warmth or personality. Unfortunately, no staff on arrival. Thus, no information on any hotel amenities or the surrounding area. The pool was not clean and seemed to be abandoned. Staff member was very angry when we asked for breakfast at Expedia advertised time of 8.00 am. Very upsetting. Staff member only at the hotel for short amount of time every day. The rest of the time reception unmanned. This is not the Spain we know and love. '

'La Masía és genuina. El entorno es especial, con mucho encanto. El propietario prepara unas cenas y almuerzos tradicionales de la zona de Catalunya, con mucho esmero y productos naturales. Las sensaciones y vibras son muy agradables, si lo que deseas es notar como si vivieras en un ambiente rural en Invierno.: llar de foc, olores del campo , tranquilidad, relax. En fin tener una experiencia para desconectarse del trajín habitual, a los que vivimos en las ciudades. '

'We had a wondeful 3- night-stay in this amazing authentic Catalan house. We loved how all the details in the house represent traditions and history. Marta and Viktor were amazing making sure we had all we needed. Figueres is a 25 minute drive and other sights are also a short driving from the house. We absolutely recommend staying here and hopefully we will return one day.'

'Wonderful breakfast with beautiful view from terrace. Operators Laura and Carlos were very helpful and provided useful information to see nearby places. Quiet setting. 4 rooms but no’s 1 and 2 are best because toilets are nearby.'
