'Hotel is a little older, but it looks like everything has been redone in the last couple of years and everything was clean. The location is on a business street, but it was surprisingly quiet. Also, no noise from other rooms. Breakfast was the usual for this type of hotel. Overall a great stay and a good value. We actually stayed on our way to our vacation and stayed again on the return trip home.'

'Amazing - if you are interested in the last few hundred years of U.S. History, I'd put this one on your list of places to visit. Just a great experience. Out of the innumerable artifacts dating back to the end of the 18th century, I particularly was taken back by the original copy of a page from April 15th, 1865 - I didn't have time to see everything. The property's stewards will most likely offer a tour and they are really nice folks. I thought this location was aggressively under priced. '

'The inn was so unique and had such amazing history. Frank was the sweetest and so nice about us coming in later. When we came he showed us around and told us all about Smithville’s history and some of the artifacts there. Can’t wait to come again! '

'The facility was beautiful, the Beds and room was great. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Jay who lead the paranormal tour was very knowledgeable and funny. Resturant the three owls the food was great but took forever for the food to arrive at the table. The bread was served after the meal. Kind staff but the management of the kitchen communications needs work. '

'Was a great stay for my family of 6, we stayed the weekend. And it was a nice place to stay. We had 3 beds and its was nice. And they have a nice little breakfast set up as well. '

'The room was pleasantly comfortable! We had 2 large dogs with us and never felt crowded at all. The pet fee was also reasonable and our check in was super easy. The beds were clean and comfortable. It was a double queen room so an extra soap and shampoo in the room would've been helpful. No coffee maker but that wasn't a big deal. When our take out supper didn't come with eating utisels, the lady up front happily provided some for us.This definitely made our favorites list.'
