'Good location not too far from Downtown. Free parking and breakfast was a plus. Rooms were mid, and there was a funky smell coming from the AC. There was some yelling and loud talking in the hallways early in morning which made it hard to sleep. Overall it served its purpose for 2 night.'

'When I first got there, I was checked in by the rudest front desk clerk who is terrible had an absolutely terrible attitude didn’t offer me bottled water. Nothing truly just a piss poor attitude and then I got to the room and the room was absolutely dirty again dirty handprints all over the bathroom. The front door to the room was so dirty. There was literally dirt dripping down the back of the door in the room. Very very disappointing. Stay.'

'I had a terrible experience staying at the Red Lion in Kansas City. The hotel was dirty from the moment I walked in. The hallways had a strong unpleasant smell, and the room was not clean at all. It looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned before my arrival, which made the stay very uncomfortable. The overall condition of the hotel was disappointing and nothing like I expected. Cleanliness should be a basic standard, but this property failed in that regard. I would not recommend staying here...

'The purpose for getting a room with the balcony we thought we would be able to smoke on those to come to find out you can’t so the only thing you could do out there was SWAT at the bees extra money spent for no reason and the smoking area where you were allowed to smoke was also invaded by a bunch of bees and bird poop on the seats/ other than that the stay was good'

'My family and I recently stayed at this hotel property for two nights while on a road trip. We checked in on a Thursday night and checked out on Saturday morning. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The front desk staff were helpful upon check-in and were generous in giving us extra towels. The breakfast was a hot breakfast and consisted of eggs (scrambled/fried/omelette), sausages, and biscuits and gravy. There was plenty of parking on the property. The only minuses were that the sleeper...

The pictures and price don’t match what you actually get. If the total was like $250 for the entire stay, you know what you’re in for, but this was more than double for feeling like you couldn’t even take your shoes off in the room because you didn’t want to touch anything, and/or the room might get broken into in the middle of the night....

'Very spacious hotel with plenty of lounges to relax in. I would recommend keeping lounge TVs on a weather station or something calming instead of a news station. I appreciated the fitness room and the ability to relax with a mixed drink in the evening. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly.'
