'We stayed here over New Year's while visiting family and friends. This was a great place with everything we needed. Communication was great and we enjoyed the snacks and coffee bar! Thanks again.'

'Located on a quiet residential street, this is without question one of the nicest VRBO rentals we have ever experienced. The property is immaculate, modern, roomy and comfortable. You even have use of the garage. The manager, Heidi, provides clear, concise & timely instructions for check-in & is most responsive to any queries. We would most definitely return here again.'

'My overall experience was wonderful very nice neighborhood very peaceful and relaxing. Communication was a A. I love everything about my stay every thing was so convenient to go to from gas stations to grocery stores a must stay u wont be disappointed. '

'My daughter was receiving an award and needed space since we were traveling in from Dallas with family. The house is lovely, checkin and communication was good. Plenty of space, perfect for what we needed. Two things to note. Sofa in living room needs to be replaced, back has no support. There is no privacy door for the forth bedroom, open. Lawn could have been mowed for better drive up appeal. Neighborhood was nice, quiet safe .I would rent sgain...but needs'

'Great host and locationOven and ice maker were not working. Basic eating utensils were minimal (knives, forks, spoons) No kitchen spice basics. Must supply own barsoap and shampoo.Overall house is very clean and host is great.'

'We had a great stay at Captain's Cabin. We were looking for a place on Sabine Lake that had great access to our favorite fishing spots and Captain's Cabin suited our needs perfectly. The house and yard were very clean and well appointed. There was ample room for parking and the area is safe and extremely quiet. David, the property owner ,was extremely nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend Captain's Cabin to anyone. '

'We wanted a nice place centric to museums, great Cajun food, and natural areas to explore, this VRBO did not disappoint. Heidi is a great host, very communicative with a cozy home that includes all the amenities you need to hang out in or revitalize after a day of local fun. Would definitely keep in mind for future relaxation or exploration. '

'This place was great, it was super comfortable the property owner was available always, I woukd definitely stay there next time im in town.'

'Several friends traveled for a local event and shared this house. It was very comfortable and well appointed. It is clear that the home was renovated and decorated carefully. The host, Danina, provided many extras such as two robes in each bedroom, toiletries in case someone forgot something, cookies and bottled water. The kitchen is very well equipped and has brand new appliances. We highly recommend this property if you are visiting the East Texas/WestLouisiana area.'

"Friendly welcome but the room was very damp 💨 and even wet on the floor. Not a nice experience. But the manager was very friendly and even gave us fresh water to go! "
