'Everything was fine. It was quiet and peaceful. They made good use of the space - placing furniture to optimize the view. I sent a message before check-in- which was never responded to. It's a partial view of a tidal flat. Calling it an ocean view is a reach. That being said, I enjoyed the somewhat wild landscaping leading down to the view.'

The only struggle was that the streets are very busy & noisy, yet thankfully my room was still quiet overall. 'Beautiful place, lots and lots of stairs. Waterfront is on a little lagoon that is made by the embankment for the train rt of way. Trains pass by occasionally, I found the sound kind of peaceful, but if you think you will be disturbed, bring ear plugs.There is a gorgeous fire place as the center of the house, but guests are not able to utilize it. The fire space on the beach is small and viney, but we made do. Just don't expect to sit around a fire for a long time.All in all, a very good stay...
