Hi Esmail,We're sorry the room didn't live up to your expectations. We do recommend sticking to our standard kings, deluxe kings, or family rooms if you are looking for rooms with more wiggle room. I took a look into your folio and I do see you were charged twice, once for the initial check in and then a second time for the room upgrade you requested. If you have any questions about charges please reach out to us. We weren't able to locate the smell you mentioned but be assured we have our housekeeping team on the lookout and doing extra cleaning to find it. We hope to get a second chance and show you just how great it is to stay with us!

Hi Robert, I was glad we could speak on the phone the other day about what happened with your stay and that I could refund at least some of your stay to you. KEX is a hotel/hostel with a wide variety of rooms ranging from budget friendly beds in our dorm style room, queen and double queen rooms with shared bathrooms, to our more traditional private ensuite rooms. We try to make it very clear in our listings which rooms do and don't have ensuite bathrooms. We apologize the room wasn't what you were expecting but if you do want to give one of our private ensuite rooms a try please reach back to me and I can set up a discounted stay for you!

Hi Samuel,We understand how frustrating it is after a long day of travel to then have to wait for your room that you should have been ready. We apologize once again the room was not ready for at check in time. Our housekeeping team works incredibly hard to get all arrival’s rooms done before check in but sometimes its just not possible. On these rare occasions we do offer complimentary late check outs to make up for the delay in getting into your room. We hope that once you were in the room everything was great and you enjoyed your stay.
