Not just a place to stay - it’s an experience!
Loved staying with Maren, Nell the dog, and the horses. And don’t forget the chickens and cats! Lovely spot close to Portland for a relaxed trip to the city for us Coasties. Lawn/soccer field for pre-teen boys to get energy out. Thank you to all!

Perfect landing spot
We needed a place to stay for a couple days before our daughter's wedding. Maren's hospitality was so welcoming and the place so beautiful and peaceful. She even allowed us to gather the extended family for a pizza dinner one night!

Amazing!
Stayed at this Vrbo the night before my wedding with my groomsmen. It turned out to be the best place to rest and relax before the big day. Maren was very helpful in coordinating and communicating. 10/10 would recommend!

An oasis in the city
Our multigenerational family needed an overnight near Portland for a funeral. This home was such a peaceful place to be together, with beds for all, and a comfortable gathering space in the living room. I can’t believe there is still a place near the city with farm views from every window, and only the chickens and horses to keep you company. Thank you, Maren!

Very nice place to stay
This was a beautiful place with plenty of room for everyone. The beds were really comfortable and the grounds were so relaxing. As others have mentioned the kitchen only has a couple burners and a microwave. There is no dishwasher or oven. This worked fine for us but is definitely something you have to plan for. We loved our stay.

Shower of happiness
We had a group of women celebrating an upcoming wedding. The bride wanted to keep things low key and just enjoy visiting and catching up . This was the perfect place. The kitchen was small but we knew that going in so we made our plans accordingly. LOVED the horses and Nel the dog. Even though it is attached to the house we never heard them. Highly recommend staying here away from the hustle and bustle of the city but close to several great places to eat if you are so inclined.

We were here for a friend’s wedding. The place is very clean and beautiful. The beds were very comfortable which is a number one priority for me. There were more sleeping areas than we had realized. The master has a king bed with a queen pullout couch. It’s a typical pull out with springs. We didn’t use it as my son slept on a very comfy platform style Murphy bed in the living room which I believe was a queen. The other 2 bedrooms had a queen and one of them had a twin tucked into a side alcove in addition to the queen. There is a pack and play for a baby in one of the closets. Thank you, Maren!

Such a wonderful, beautiful property. Brought along a photographer for family photos and Weather didn’t deter any of us from enjoying our stay. . Oregon ice storm and Mother Nature gave us a bit of a challenge but the owner was so accommodating and allowed us extra time upon vacating.

This listing was not clear that it is for a portion of the house. The bedrooms were nice, as were the bathrooms. The kitchen is very small and not equipped for much more than coffee etc in the morning. Would be a challenge to cook anything more than eggs etc. TV has lots of content, and surrounding area was very nice for walking.

I was blown away by this property. And I was also disappointed .. that we only stayed one night! :( Our plan was to have a 2 day family trip in Portland. So we just needed a place to sleep that could accommodate us all. This unit was so clean, so spacious, and homey.. there’s everything you need for small kids.. Plenty of linens and towels.. pantry/fridge was stocked with small things you don’t really want to buy when your only there for a few days. It was literally like home away from home. And our host was prompt in responding. She even recommended a great breakfast spot for us. We definitely will be coming back for future Oregon trips! Thank you again!

Beautiful country property
My family came from out of town to celebrate my son's wedding. This was a perfect setting for them. There was ample room for 10 family members and the owner quickly responded to any questions we had. My family loved walking the grounds, looking/feeding the chickens, petting the horses & loving Nell (guard dog-who's very loveable). The location is very peaceful but close enough to the city to go out to eat & grocery shopping. My family loved it!...Highly recommend.

Great base to check out the area
Very peaceful setting on a horse farm with a very friendly dog and cat. Lots of restaurants and breweries within a couple/few miles. Made the trip to Mount Hood, Multnomah Falls, and Portland's Japanese garden, among others. There is also a great trail that runs along the Tualatin River. Maren was a fantastic host and the unit is very nice. We had two couples and it was very comfortable. Definitely recommended!

Enjoyed the tranquil setting, plenty of bedroom space as well as 2 large bathrooms. Kitchenette rather than full kitchen was ok.for our family because we ate out most of the time. Maren was ready whenever we had questions or needed anything. Would stay here again if we are in the Portland area.

This place is more than just a place to rest your head. Other than the horses, there are hiking trails, places to enjoy a good book, work remotely, or just rest. The one drawback is not having a full kitchen - just a stovetop and microwave, so plan on eating out or having take out for any large meal.

We had a lovely time at Maren's property and saw horses, chickens, kittens, and made friends with her beautiful dog, Nell who joined us in the house for part of an afternoon. The only drawback was the very small 'kitchen' area but we even made that work. The kitchen comprises of a double hotplate, sink and full fridge in the hallway so if you're looking to cook a gourmet meal this isn't it, but otherwise we absolutely loved it!

Amazing property with horses and sweet kittens and Nel the friend dog....all outside our windows. Beautiful yard for coffee outside...country road to walk with Christmas trees, apples and sunflowers. Very nicely decorated Very comfortable accommodations Lots of room The kids loved the play house in the backyard. I was very thankful there wasn’t a raging stallion horse in the corral next to the yard! With such a nice accommodation, I expected more of a kitchen. A two burner stove is not much to cook with. Additionally the fridge was a challenge being so small. Thankfully we brought our coolers. I didn’t see any discharge instructions specifics. So I hope we left it nice for you.
