'This is an elegant, spacious, and beautifully decorated bed and breakfast. It was even better than I had expected. The bed was comfortable, we enjoyed the rooftop hot tub with its view, the coffee and tea service, the early morning breakfast, and the warmth and graciousness of the host family.'

'Last week room had no furniture except bed and desk. Found out in true Alaska style the truck with the new furnishings for the entire hotel has yet to arrive. They are doing their best! Also excellent salmon fishing in the river across the street. Enjoy!'

'The room was very comfortable and had all the amenities that one might expect in a suite. The staff was wonderful & helpful - going out of their way both at checkin as well as during the stay. The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to major roads and attractions. I would strongly recommend. And will stay again when next in Anchorage.'

'Spacious clean room with a kitchen. In Alaska in the summer it was nice to have effective blackout shades. Neighborhood is kind of a hotel ghetto. Not much in walking distance except other hotels.'

'The day we checked in and as we almost made it to our room, the fire alarm went off. With luggage in hand we ran down the stairs and found the outdoor exit with another guest. We made our way to the front of the building and learned it was a false alarm, thank goodness. Anyway, fun times :-)
The staff is wonderful and kind. Breakfast was wonderful with optoons to have omelets made the way you want, and pancakes too. Our room was clean and quite. Overall, great stay.'

'Hotel was very clean. Close to the airport. Bed was very comfortable. They had a small coffee stand inside the hotel with good coffee, lattes, etc. They have a freezer if you need to store fish, however there were not able to accommodate us on the night the we stayed so we had to take our boxes to the airport to store it which was $24/box per night. Overall, we would stay again if we had to. Wish it hadn't of been so expensive ($500/nt). Definitely wasn't a $500/nt type of area or room. '

'So much better than the downtown hotels we stayed in. The hotels downtown are older and run down and crawling with cruise passengers. This is a newer hotel: clean, well lit, quiet, fun, nicely decorated, nice staff, good vibe. You can't walk a lot of places and the view is of a gas station, but of the four hotels I stayed in on a trip to Anchorage, this is the only one I would book again. 5 minute drive to everything.'
