'Small bed and breakfast middle in the fields of Biei. Very nice owners. The rooms are basic and clean. We had to share the bathroom. Breakfast is excellent. Be aware that Biei is a very small town and has very few restaurants open for diner.'

'Clean and cozy guesthouse. Breakfasts were delicious. Yamasan provided rides to local ski areas (and to medical appointments after my husband got injured); and both Yamasan and his wife were very helpful for organizing taxis and for shipping luggage. Arigato gozaimasu! '

'We stayed one night at Yellow House Niseko, and that was enough for us. While the location was convenient for walking to local pubs and convenience stores, and the staff was very responsive—helping us arrange a private taxi from the airport—the overall experience left a lot to be desired.
