'lovely little find. Room was lovely, beautifully decorated. Fridge and aircon which are invaluable when travelling with work. Room was a little small, the others looked larger so would book one of these next time. Only improvement would be remove the shower curtains and replace with glass, no one likes a shower curtain!!'

'This is a very basic accommodation but reasonable price. Bed comfortable, shower fine, mini fridge available. Juice and cereal + milk provided. No toiletries but liquid soap dispensers in bathroom. Despite being above a small bar (pub) it was not noisy. Bedroom walls were a bit dirty - probably should be scrubbed. Otherwise clean. There are good nearby restaurants and a wonderful bakery.'

'I would advise other travellers to be cautious, especially if arriving late or making a last-minute booking. I should also mention that I was told I would not be offered breakfast because I had booked last minute or arrived late. My experience with the reception staff made me feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable. Regardless of the price paid for a room, every guest should be treated with basic courtesy and respect. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not stay here again.'

'The room was large, bright and clean with the added bonus of a fan. Staff were polite and helpful. Evening meal was superb. If we are in Harpenden again we will definitely stay here again.'

'Heel leuk oud gebouw, prachtige binnenplaats, prima parkeergelegenheid. Douchevloer (kamer 6) zeer glad.'
