My recent stay at Days Inn Regina was far from pleasant. The front desk staff were unwelcoming at check-in, and the billing process felt like a scam. I had already paid a deposit online, yet they charged me the full amount again at the front desk—an extra $50! When I raised the issue, they dismissed me, saying I had to deal with Expedia, even though Expedia’s email clearly stated the deposit was collected by the hotel.
To make matters worse, one of the beds had a terrible mattress—springs were so worn out I could pinch them with my fingers. The hotel did provide an extra small bed as compensation, but it didn’t make up for the discomfort. What was supposed to be a relaxing weekend turned into a frustrating and exhausting experience.
I would not recommend this hotel due to the poor customer service, questionable billing practices, and subpar room conditions.
