'Family of four (with 8yo twins) stayed here in November 2025. It's a beautiful inn, comfortable and clean and quiet, with friendly staff and good food for breakfast and dinner. The bath is lovely -- staff help you book a time in the evening at check in, and it's available on a first come first served basis in the morning. 'I stayed at 5 different accommodations during my visit to Japan, and Ryokan Plum was by far my favourite - it was a shame that I could only stay for one night! I stayed in the traditional tatami room, which exceeded all of my expectations. It was beautiful! The host (I forget her name) who greeted me upon my arrival was very kind and welcoming. 'The guesthouse is clean and comfortable. The location is convenient, about 10 min from the train station. There are no supermarkets or shops in the area. It is self check-in, I wasn't notified about beforehand, so it was a bit of a stressfull welcome as I didn't know how to enter the room.'
