'The front desk staff was wonderful. The two free drinks were a great bonus. The free dinner was ok, but couldn't eat there two days in a row. Breakfast was ok too, but not a lot of choices. The room was clean, but we could hear everything going on in the hallway. Overall we really liked it there. Not perfect, but very nice. I would recommend it.'

'Checked in staff was nice. Room had a smell, mold in the bathroom on the walls (Blackmold), mold on the window casing. The TV speakers were broken. Due to the timing the office person offered to move us to another room, which we did. The second room didn’t have mold. Smelled. The outside of the property is nice, the rooms need updating.'

'Hotel was dirty, floors were sticky, room smelled of mildew, AC did not work properly, phone in room did not work, bathroom light flashed like a strobe light and there was no mirror. The floors were dirty in there. After waiting for a maintenance man that didn't show, we suggested we move acrossed the hall, which was thankfully agreed to by the staff. Overall, would not recommend and will not be back.'

'I had a wonderful stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott Birmingham/Hoover. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and the staff provided excellent customer service throughout my visit. I appreciated the spacious accommodations and convenient location. It was a relaxing and enjoyable experience, and I would gladly stay here again when visiting the area. Highly recommend for both business and leisure travelers!'
